Chapter2-Izumi

“So, I am basically what?” Vegita repeated.

“Ahh.. Nothing! We were err.. Just saying, well, um.. You know, that you are basically the strongest fighter in the universe!” exclaimed Marron.

“So, were we?” Vegita looked straight at Judith, by the time, were thinking of nothing but going back home, into her comfortable room in Capsule Corp.

“Huh? Oh, yeah, we were. Yeah, Marron’s absolutely right!” she played on, not hearing what ever Marron murmured under her breath.

“Well, what are we waiting for? Your mother sent me to fetch you home for dinner since you were with that android’s brat.” Vegita spat out the last two words as if it were poisonous.

Judith sweat dropped, and Marron gritted her teeth.

“I am not a brat, and my mother isn’t an android anymore!” She yelled, and stormed past the still-sweat-dropping-Judith, and into a corner, and flew off.

“Dad, what was that for?” Judith demanded.

“I just stated the truth,” he replied.

Judith flew off to Capsule Corp., apparently very disapproved by Her father’s behavior.

Vegita followed, not too far off.

     “Come on Izumi, your dinner is going to get cold!!!!” Chi-Chi yelled up the stairs.

“I’m coming, I’m coming. Can’t you be a little patient for once?”  Izumi yelled back.

“Come on, I’m hungry!” Goten yelled. “And so is everyone else!”

And sure enough, Goku, Gohan, Pan and Goten were eyeing the food in front of them, as if they were the last in the world.

“Ok, ok. Here I am. Gosh, can’t you guys let me let me finish my math homework? Ok, Izumi, remember, it’s rise-over- run equals slope. Not run over rise, ok, now I’m confusing myself again.  Oh! I wish Judith was here to help my poor soul!” she cried out.

The Son’s were having a reunion, which was most times fun, but in this case (to Izumi) was just a bunch of troubles.

“Stop being a nuisance, and let’s get on eating!” Goten yelled again.

“Don’t be mean to your little sister Goten!  She’s only 13, and you are 16 already!  Now, let’s get on with eating!!!!” Goku first at a solemn tone, then an exclamation led everyone to start his or her dinner.

“Umm.. Dad?”  Goten spoke between his bites of his rice.

“What is it Goten?”  Goku returned, obviously in the same state.

“Goten, Goku, don’t talk with your mouth full!” Chi-chi exclaimed.

“I just wanted to tell you that I’m not 16 yet.”

“Oh yes!” Chi-Chi piped in. “How about we go somewhere for your birthday with the Briefs?”

“Yeah! Then, I get to play with Bra/Judith!” Pan and Izumi both exclaimed at the same time.

“How about, we go bowling or something?” cried Videl.

<I’ll get to see how good Gohan is on that one!> She thought.
