Chapter 3-Plan

 

     “Izu-chan! Wake up! I came to pick you up!!”  Judith yelled into the window.  Apparently, she was floating right outside Izumi’s bedroom window.

“Izumi, wake up already!” Judith shouted, getting annoyed suddenly. “If you don’t get out of bed now, I am going to go to school without you!”

“Ok, Ok. I’m up.”

 Izumi shivered. It was below freezing outside, and Judith was just floating there as if it was no big deal.

“Gosh, hurry up! We are really going to be late for school. In this, we’ll just have to use instant transmission!” Judith’s annoyed cries could be heard, outside, while Izumi ran around trying to find her school uniform.

“I found it!” She Cried in joy, and ran into the bathroom to change, and came right back out in 2 seconds.

“I forgot my hair pin and my scrunches!”

She dove into the bathroom once again, and came out 20 seconds later, barely ready.

“Izumi, we are seriously not going to make it if you don’t hurry up!” Judith yelled through the window.

“I know Judy-chan. I’m trying!” Izumi yelled back.

Five minutes later, Izumi finally got ready after swallowing a whole toast, and a cup of milk, and dashing out the door.

“This is happening every week now Izumi, we need to do something about this, and-” Judith was cut off by a small energy blast pushing her into the grass.

“Come on, Judy-chan, we are going to a new school today remember! So cheer up. Anyway, I think we need to use instant transmission that my dad taught us.  We only have 3 minutes left until the bell rings!” Judith chirped.

Judith, getting up from the grass was furious, but when she look at her watch, she noticed that it indeed was 7:27, and they only had 3 minutes to go to their new school, across Japan.

“Who’s fault do you think it is, that got us kicked out of the last school?!” Judith yelled, getting up from the grass, and levitating a few meters off the ground.

“Well, I’m going. See you in 5 seconds, if you remember how to do it!” and with that, she placed two fingers on her forehead and was gone in an instant.

“Well, I guess that’s Judy.” Izumi murmured, and she too placed two fingers on her forehead, and was gone.

 

“Class, I would like to introduce you to two of our new classmates.” The teacher shouted over the noisy class.

“ I am sorry,” she apologized to Judith and Izumi. “This is a very noisy class. I would do anything to get something out of them.”

Judith thought for a moment, and asked, “Do you know anything they like to do?”

“Oh, yes. But I am afraid you would not be able to fulfill it,” she replied.

“Oh, but what is it miss? We might be able to do it!” Judith exclaimed.

“I am pretty sure you would not be able to.”

“Well, just tell us!”

“Let me see here, oh, yes. You see, they love to fight. Physically. They are all in the martial arts club at our school, and they never follow the rules, or listen to teachers unless they know they are strong enough to stand up to them.  We even have the talk to ban the martial arts class.”

Izumi glanced over to Judith, and Judith, knowing what she was intending to do, said,

“Izumi, I think this isn’t a very good idea,”

“Oh come on, please, you’ll do it with me, right?”

“But….”

“No buts, I’m doing it, and so are you.”

Izumi stepped out to the front of the class, with Judith at her heels.

“Oh, look everyone, two little pip-squeaks are trying to talk!” One of the boys jeered.

“Can I have attention please?”  Izumi yelled, but nobody seemed to be listening.

“I think you have to do it,” Izumi murmured to Judith.

“Isn’t there any other way?” Judith murmured back.

 

This time, Judith stepped up.

“Please, may we have your attention for one moment while we discuss what we could do?” She yelled, louder than that of Izumi.  “I am thinking about a tournament.”

Everyone’s vices died down instantly.

“I am talking about a martial arts tournament, we could do it right here, in this school. And yes, I heard that you are all in the martial arts club, so that is why I am encouraging this.” Judith continued.

Murmurs of excitements could be heard all around the room.

“And, we would compete against all of you, if you prefer. Izumi and I. We have some martial arts experience ourselves.” After she said this, she could hear snickering in some parts of the room.

“BUT, this is under one circumstance.” She spoke. “If we win, then, you would have to listen to all of your teachers, as students should respect teachers.” She finished.

“Any questions?”

No one said a word, until a boy spoke out.

“Hey, who are you guys anyway?”

Judith and Izumi both face faulted at the question.

They didn’t even introduce themselves, and here they were, already trying to take charge of a bunch of gangs.

“Beg your pardon,” Judith murmured. “My name is Judith Briefs, and this is my friend Izumi Son.” She spoke, nodding toward Izumi. “We are very excited to be the new members of your class.”

Loud cheers and booing’s were heard.

“Excuse me miss, but where are we to sit?” Judith asked, directing the question to the teacher. But instead, “Hey cuties, sit right over here, there’s two seats open, besides, it’s only while you are still alive!”

Everyone except for Judith, Izumi and the teacher burst out laughing.

  “That was not funny!” Judith yelled.
